The Underline Project: Phase 1 [An update]
The Wall was up on the 24th of October, and come Monday (25th), people started filling up the spaces of the Wall with their hopes, dreams and aspirations. We teared up reading what people shared on the Wall.
The Wall, Monday morning.
By noon, we had to add more space for people to write.
Just insane! :')
Students pass by, reading what others had shared.
They laughed, smiled, "oooh-ed", "aahh-ed" and "aww-ed".

The Underline Project: Phase 1
The first phase of the Underline Project is currently up and running. Here is a glimpse of the preparation process last Sunday:
Having a brief with the volunteers. Thank God for them or else! :p
And the work begun!
Volunteers painting the boards.
Me getting down and dirty! :D
A slightly tensed moment, as the clouds are getting dark and it's about to rain!
Touching it up a bit..
"So how would they know what to do? We must put a manual.."
...and hence, the (most simple) manual (in the world).
I was actually nervous about my bad hand-writing
(and also about sharing one of my deepest secrets!)
Yes, be true to yourself! Nothing to fear!
Awww :)
The bunch with the kindest of hearts and most amazing personalities. Thank you guys :')
Thank you dear friends. You guys suck! Hehe (they know I meant the opposite) :p
Started only as an idea. High five, Chip!

The Underline Project: Phase 1 [How the idea came about]
Hi everyone!
We are currently beyond words, but if we must: ecstatic, as we are almost done with our 'baby' project, The Underline Project, where we spent a month on planning and executing.
The idea came about when 1/2 of us, Chip, saw something that this amazing person, Candy Chang did in her neighborhood. We got totally inspired and talked about it for a good month. We threw ideas around over teh tarik and roti canai and had our first meeting some time during Hari Raya. Then we thought, we might as well pull it off and walk the talk.
And so there we were, last Sunday, getting our hands dirty with the preparation, and in just a few hours, the Wall is fully-functioning.
The first phase was done at the Faculty of Education (UiTM), solely because we wanted to make it extra sentimental - it was the place we all first knew each other and where we had "grown up" together. It was also the place where we learned and experienced so much about life. Hence, it is super special and imperative for us to begin our journey at some place really close to our hearts - our alma mater.
This website is dedicated to document the projects that we will be doing and for all of you to share together and throw in suggestions. If you would like us to "make-over" some walls in your neighborhood, let us know and you can bet we'll be there!
